The number of Romanians abroad confirmed with a novel coronavirus infection held steady at 6,914 and so did the death toll at 127, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS), the official novel coronavirus communication task force, announced on Tuesday.

EU appoints new ambassador to Turkey
Senior German diplomat Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut was nominated as head of EU delegation to Turkey, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell announced on June 16 in a statement.
Meyer-Landrut has been Germany's ambassador to France and Monaco since 2015.
He will replace Christian Berger, who continues his career as EU ambassador to Egypt.

Media: Empty border crossings from Serbia to Montenegro, many additional dilemmas
The Jabuka border crossing between Serbia and Montenegro has been almost deserted since this morning, according to an RTS reporter.
Montenegro has opened all borders with neighboring countries and Serbia since midnight, but Serbia is still not on the list of countries whose citizens can enter without quarantine or a PC test.
Rules for Entering Bulgaria from June 1
Bulgaria's Minister of Health Kiril Ananiev issued an order regulating the entry into the Republic of Bulgaria as of June 1, the transit through the territory of the country and the rule for the mandatory 14-day quarantine.
