A specialized website has ranked Bulgaria among twenty countries offering the world´s best WiFi services.

In terms of average download speed, Lithuania and Estonia have come first in a ranking published on UK-based tech watchdog Rotten WiFi's blog which includes tests of speed and quality of public hotspots in 184 countries.

Poverty threatens German pensioners

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has released a report on the retirement systems of 34 industrial countries and show that poverty threatens Germany, too as Deutsche Welle reports.

Silent cinema festival at Istanbul Modern

The curtain has come down on the Turkish pavilion at the 56th Venice biennale following a six-month festival of art.

Turkey's entry at the 56th International Art Exhibition, an installation titled "Respiro" by influential conceptual artist Sarkis, received great interest from local and international media as well as the art world.
