Exceptional documentaries at Magnificent 7 festival
BELGRADE - The 11th European Feature Documentary Film Festival Magnificent 7 will be held at Belgrade's Sava Centar from January 30 to February 5, the organisers have stated.
Festival Selector Tue Steen Mueller from Denmark picked excellent, modern documentaries for this year's festival, originating from the Netherlands, the UK, Spain, Denmark, Portugal, Finland and France.
Premieres from Rotterdam to screen in Serbian cinemas
BELGRADE - The audience in Belgrade, Nis and Subotica will be able to see five world film premieres from the festival in Rotterdam from January 24 to 28, at the same time as the cinema audience in the Netherlands and other European countries.
'World Notes' by photography artist
Beyo?lu ?FSAK Local Exhibition Hall is set to open an exhibition by travel photography artist Mevlüt Ma?alac?, ?World Notes II,? with the artist presenting his second show after his maiden one two years ago.

BELGRADE - The 8th Kustendorf International Film and Music Festival, which begins at Drvengrad in Mecavnik on Wednesday, now also has celebrated Russian director Nikita Mikhalkov on its guest list.
Confirmed guests include famous director Andrey Konchalovsky, Mexican-American director Alfonso Cuaron, as well as cult French director Bertrand Tavernier.
Turkish taxes on oil surpass EU countries
As global crude oil prices continue their freefall, taxes implemented on refined oil in Turkey have surpassed almost all 28 European Union countries due to a complex taxing methodology, according to a report by the country's energy watchdog, EPDK.

Bulgaria Records 20 % Drop in Foreign Direct Investment
The foreign direct investment (FDI) in Bulgaria in the period January - November 2014 are lagging behind with 20 % compared with the same period for 2013.
According to the preliminary data of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB), FDI amounts to EUR 1.224 B for the period.
The investments increased during the first quarter of 2014, but dipped sharply in the second quarter.
