CCHBC H1 profit falls, Q2 EBIT up
Coca-Cola HBC AG, the second-largest bottler of Coca-Cola Company brands, on Thursday reported a net profit slide of 11 percent in the six-month period ending June 27.
Income fell to 99 million euros from 111 million a year earlier. Net sales revenue declined 6 percent to 3.183 million from 3.381 million in the same period.

New Nigeria videos show abuses: Amnesty report
Graphic new video footage from northeastern Nigeria shows the country's military carrying out abuses against civilians as part of their fight against the Islamic extremist group Boko Haram, Amnesty International said Tuesday. The international human rights group also accused the military of killing of more than 600 released prisoners.

Two dead after female suicide bomber targets Nigeria petrol station
A female suicide bomber blew herself up at a petrol station in northern Nigeria's biggest city of Kano on Monday, killing one other person, a military source said.
The source gave no other details about the attack. It was the third bomb attack in Kano in just 24 hours.
Giant African snails seized at Los Angeles airport
U.S. Customs and Border protection inspectors at Los Angeles International Airport seized 67 live giant African snails that are a popular delicacy across West Africa.
The snails, which are prohibited in the U.S., arrived from Nigeria and were being sent to a person in California, said Lee Harty, a spokeswoman for the customs agency.
