The Turkish president will leave on Oct. 17 for a four-day diplomatic tour to three African countries, diplomatic sources have told Anadolu Agency.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has officially visited 28 African countries to date, and will now tour Angola, Nigeria and Togo.

The information about three Bulgarian citizens who died in a helicopter accident in Côte d'Ivoire has been confirmed. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that they had been notified through unofficial channels through the embassy in Nigeria.

Nigeria's LNG carrier, LNG Abuja II, reached Turkey on Aug. 23, according to the latest ship tracking data.
