Taliban kill 71 Christians on Easter Day in Pakistan (photos+videos)

71 Christians were killed in the capital city of the Punjab province Lahore, in Pakistan on Easter Sunday, after a bomb exploded at a park. According to sources, a splinter group of the Taliban claimed responsibility for the deadly attacks who were specifically targeting Christians. Authorities put the number of victims at 71 and those injured at 300.

Suicide bomber kills 65, mostly women, children in Pakistan park

A suicide bomber killed at least 65 people and injured more than 280 others, mostly women and children, at a public park in the Pakistani city of Lahore on March 27, striking at the heart of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's political base of Punjab.

The blast occurred in the parking area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, a few feet (meters) away from children's swings.

Turkey, Pakistan sign free trade agreement framework

Turkey and Pakistan have paved the way for a new free trade deal, which has the potential to reduce barriers in bilateral trade and investment.

More Than 3000 People Sought Asylum in Bulgaria in Jan-Feb 2016

As many as 3150 people applied for asylum in Bulgaria in the first two months of 2016, the  State Agency for Refugees has said.

Most of these were citizens of Iraq (1719), followed by Afghanistan (917) and Syria (359), Pakistan (94) and Iran (8).

The latest statistics come after weeks-long delays in publishing the data.
