Nikolic meets with Ferro Rodrigues

LISBON - On the second day of a state visit to Portugal, Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic met on Thursday with Portuguese Parliament Speaker Eduardo Ferro Rodrigues, who backed Serbia's European integration process.

Nikolic said the two nations had much in common and that there was significant room for cooperation, primarily in the economy.

Nikolic to pay two-day visit to Portugal

LISBON - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will be on a two-day state visit to Portugal on Wednesday and Thursday, the presidential press office announced in a statement Monday.

During the visit, which will mark 135 years of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Portugal, Nikolic will meet with top Portuguese officials.
