In April 2017, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 548.8 thousand or by 17.7% above the registered in April 2016, according to the National Statistical Institute (NSI).
Challenges and potential for banks in the region
Wim Mijs, chief executive officer of the European Banking Federation, was in Greece this week to take part in the Balkans and Black Sea Cooperation Forum in Serres. The federation unites 32 national banking associations in Europe, representing some 4,500 banks.

Phantom islands can generally be divided into three groups. Most of the phantom islands recorded through history were usually derived and marked according to the reports made by early ship captains and sailors, during their missions to explore new realms. Many of the phantom islands in this category were later revisited and proved to be non-existent, or mistaken for some already extant island.
Debt relief is not the solution for Greece
The notion that Greece cannot recover because of its crushing debt burden is superficially attractive. However it overlooks some basic facts and cannot explain why all the other peripheral countries which needed official support (Portugal, Ireland, Spain and Cyprus) are recovering.

The first Non Japanese Samurai was an African slave named Yasuke
According to Histoire Ecclesiastique Des Isles Et Royaumes Du Japon, written by François Solier of the Society of Jesus in 1627, Yasuke was a Muslim from Mozambique. Solier’s account may however have been an assumption, as it was written so long after the event and there is no surviving contemporary account that corroborates it.

Boryana Kaleyn 4th in the Rhythmic Gymnastics All-Around in Portugal
Bulgaria's Boryana Kaleyn came 4th in the all-around at the FIG World Challenge Cup in Portimao, Portugal, reported BNR.
The second Bulgarian contestant Erika Zafirova ranked 6thin the final standings.
The winners are: Yulia Bravijkova - Russia, followed by Elizaveta Lugovskih - Russia and Victoria Filanovsky - Israel.
