Turkey wants estranged Egypt to be part of working group on Libya

Turkey has expressed willingness for Egypt to take part in a proposed working group formed to coordinate international efforts in Libya, which has been mired in conflict following an uprising that toppled veteran leader Muammar Gaddafi five years ago, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu has said. 

Turkey reveals plan to support beleaguered tourism sector

Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu announced an action plan on Feb. 22 to support Turkey's tourism sector, which has been negatively affected recently by tensions with Russia and security concerns. 

The support package included a 255-million-Turkish-Lira ($87 million) grant and several mechanisms which will enable tourism firms to restructure their debts.

Overwhelmed Albania Delays Auction of Old Jets

The Albanian Defence Ministry has postponed an auction of old Russian and Chinese-made military planes following an unexpectedly large number of requests to take part in the bidding.

Earlier this month, the ministry put out a routine announcement of an auction on February 22 to sell 36 planes and four helicopters parked in military aerodromes.

'Provisional agreement' on terms of Syria ceasefire: Kerry

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Feb. 21 that a provisional agreement had been reached with Russia on the terms of a ceasefire in Syria.

Kerry told reporters in the Jordanian capital Amman that he had spoken with Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov again on Feb. 21 on the terms of a ceasefire agreed by world powers earlier this month.
