Bulgaria Achieves Best Anti-Corruption Ranking in Over a Decade
In a notable shift, Bulgaria has received its highest score in the fight against corruption in more than a decade, according to the Corruption Perceptions Index by "Transparency International." Scoring 45 out of a possible 100 points, the country rose two positions to claim the 67th spot in the global ranking of 180 nations.
Dacic meets with Sao Tome and Principe PM
BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met with Sao Tome and Principe PM Patrice Emery Trovoada in Belgrade on Wednesday.
Dacic noted that the relations between Serbia and Sao Tome and Principe were traditionally very good and rooted in the period of Sao Tome and Principe's struggle for decolonisation, strongly supported by the former Yugoslavia at the time.

Trovoada: Great potential for cooperation with Serbia
BELGRADE - Sao Tome and Principe PM Patrice Emery Trovoada said on Wednesday in Belgrade there was great potential for cooperation with Serbia in several areas and that the two countries had shared goals.
After a meeting with Serbian PM Ana Brnabic, Trovoada said he hoped his meetings in the Serbian capital would "translate into projects."

Türkiye’s top diplomat embarks on five-nation Africa tour
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has embarked on a five-nation Africa tour, which includes a visit to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Gabon and Sao Tome and Principe.

Dacic responds to Pacolli: Serbia's only weapon is truth
Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said this for Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti.
He thus reacted to the assertion of Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli that he had "knowledge" of Belgrade "promising financial support and arms" to some smaller countries in return for revoking their recognition of Kosovo.

"What I learned is that some of the smaller and poorer countries have fallen for such promises," said Behgjet Pacolli, according to Pristina-based daily Bota Sot.
