Turkish officials are confirming that their country has forged an alliance with Saudi Arabia to help rebels fighting the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
                   
The pact, which provides rebels logistical and financial support, is a concern for a U.S. administration wary of empowering radical Islamist groups in Syria.
                   

Saudi Arabia said all options were open including ground operations to stop mortar attacks on its border towns by Yemen's Houthi militia, as its jets hammered the group's positions ahead of US-led talks on a temporary truce.

Hundreds of members of the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood have returned from exile, hoping to rebuild a movement which was crushed decades ago at home and is deemed a terrorist organisation by leading Arab states. 

The Turkish and Qatari foreign ministers will meet to discuss regional developments, the Turkish Foreign Ministry has said in a statement, amid reports that the two countries' cooperation in Syria has begun to yield results to the advantage of rebels.

Emboldened by recent advances thanks to a more "coordinated" military assistance from regional allies, Syrian rebels have asked for the support of the United States to set up safe zones before the Bashar al-Assad regime collapses.

The measures taken by the Government as regards the tourist services will make the respective industry of Romania to develop, on Wednesday said the Prime minister, Victor Ponta at the 8th edition of "TopHotel Tourism & Leisure Investment" conference in Bucharest.

Iran is expected to outline big oil and gas projects at a major industry event May 6, seeking to lure foreign investment while driving a hard bargain on potential deals.

Delivery Hero, the Germany-based online food ordering giant, has acquired Turkey?s Yemeksepeti, the leading local firm in the business, for $589 million, the companies announced on May 5. 

Yemeksepeti CEO Nevzat Ayd?n told Hürriyet that he will remain in his post as he will also be part of the management team of Delivery Hero.
