EU foreign ministers hold separate talks Monday with their Israeli and Palestinian counterparts on the prospects for lasting peace after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected calls for a future two-state solution.

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has engaged in discussions with Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, as confirmed by diplomatic sources.

The meeting, which took place at an undisclosed time and location, focused on urgent matters related to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

A delegation from the military academy of Saudi Arabia led by its commander, Major General Almalki Hassan Abdullah, visited the premises of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry (EAB) on Wednesday. 

The members of the delegation were briefed on the activities of the company in the context of their visit to Greece this week.
