Tabakovic: Serbia's banking system is stable
BELGRADE - Serbia's banking system is highly liquid and stable, and there are no reasons for worry, National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic has said.
Certain banks were, however, shut down last year due to the country's poor regulations for setting up companies, Tabakovic said for Radio and Television of Serbia (RTS) on Monday evening.

No establishment of diplomatic ties with Pristina
PRISTINA/BELGRADE - The fact that permissions for visits to Kosovo-Metohija by Serbian officials and to the rest of Serbia by Kosovo officials will have to be obtained through liaison officers is not a first step towards establishing diplomatic relations with Pristina, as some diplomatic circles in Brussels believe, says Belgrade's liaison officer in Pristina Dejan Pavicevic.

German company to open largest pig farm in Serbia
BELGRADE - Germany's largest meat producer Clemens Toennies will pay a visit to Serbia on December 1 to finalise a deal on opening a pig farm with 1,500,000 animal units, Belgrade-based Kurir reported on Tuesday.
Toennies plans to lease up to 15,000 hectares of land in Serbia for the pig farm.

Brammertz to meet with Vucic, Vukcevic on Tuesday
BELGRADE - Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) Serge Brammertz continues his visit to Belgrade with a meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, with whom he will discuss the cooperation between ICTY and Serbia, the Serbian government said in a release.

Seselj Release Alarms Croatian Leaders
Croatian Foreign Minister Vesna Pusic on Monday criticised the temporary release of the war-crime suspect and Serbian ultranationalist Vojislav Seselj.
