All friends of Serbia invited to attend military parade
BELGRADE - Serbian Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic stated on Tuesday that all friends of Serbia, including the U.S. and British prime ministers, are invited to attend the military parade which will be held on October 16 marking the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade in WWII.
Serbia and Czech Republic can improve cooperation
BELGRADE - A delegation of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and members of the Serbian parlaiment's European Integration Committee have agreed that there is room for improvement of bilateral, as well as economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.

Jankovic advances to second round in Tianjin
TIANJIN - Serbia's Jelena Jankovic is through to the second round at the WTA tournament in Tianjin, after defeating Russia's Alla Kudrjavceva 6-2 0-6, 6-0 in the first round on Tuesday.
Top seed Jankovic will next face Zheng Saisai of China, who beat Hungary's Timea Babos 7-5, 6-4.
The prize money for the Tianjin open is USD 250,000.

BELGRADE - United States Vice President Joseph Biden has spoken over the phone to Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and expressed the US respect and support for the reforms that Serbia has begun to implement, the Serbian government's media relations office has said in a release.
