The average age for a young Greek person to leave their family house is four years later compared to the rest of Europe, as shown in Eurostat's data for 2022.
On average in Greece, young people leave their parents' home at 30.7 years old. The rest of Europe's average is 26.4 years old.

The country ranks among the member states of the European Union with the highest average age according to this indicator - this is indicated by the latest Eurostat data for 2022, which were published today.

Firefighters battle flare-ups in Evros, smaller fronts in Parnitha
Firefighters worked for yet another night to extinguish the flare-ups in Evros, near the Turkish border. According to the Fire Brigade, their efforts to extinguish the flames are primarily focused on the areas of Lefkimmi, Kotronia, and Tris Vryses, which are experiencing the highest number of flare-ups. Earthquake in Romania, also felt in Bulgaria
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale was registered last night in the area of the city of Targu Jiu, Romania, reports the National Seismological Center at the Bulgarian Academy of Science.
The tremor at 00:39 a.m. Bulgarian time had an epicenter 260 kilometers from Sofia.

Russia will stop the supply of spare parts for Russian and Soviet military equipment to unfriendly countries and will revoke the licenses for the right to repair such equipment.
