Major sporting events and competitions in Slovenia cancelled
The organisers of the Vitranc Cup in Kranjska Gora said the event was cancelled based on recommendations from the International Ski Federation (FIS) and in consultations with the National Public Health Institute.
Hungary Declares a State of Emergency because of the Coronavirus
The Hungarian government has declared a state of emergency throughout the country because of the new coronavirus. Prime Minister Gergely Gulyаs said the measure was adopted in accordance with a proposal by the Ministry of Interior, MIA reported.

Prevc (132/125.5 metre) was followed by German Markus Eisenbichler (138/120.5 m) in second place and German Stephan Lehye (130/133 m) in third.

Eurostat: Infant Mortality in the EU is Highest in Romania and Bulgaria
In the EU in 2018, around 14 600 children died before reaching one year of age. This is equivalent to an infant mortality rate of 3.4 deaths per 1 000 live births, Eurostat data showed.

Slovenia Confirms First Case of COVID-19
Slovenia confirmed the first case of a coronavirus, Reuters reported, citing the country's health ministry.
The patient traveled to Slovenia from Morocco through neighboring Italy and is now a hospital in Ljubljana, Slovenian news agency CTA reported.
To date, 352 coronavirus tests have been performed in Slovenia.

Coronavirus reached Bosnia-Herzegovina, authorities to issue official statement
According to the portal, the case was confirmed by the RS Ministry of Health.
