Sports Digest: Greek women fourth in Eurobasket
BASKETBALL: The Greek women's team finished fourth in the 2017 Eurobasket in the Czech Republic as it lost to France 77-55 in Saturday's semifinal and 78-45 to Belgium in the third-place game on Sunday. Greece ended up fourth for the first time ever and made it to next summer's World Championship in Spain.

Buika comes to southern Turkey
Spanish singer Buika will perform in the southern province of Antalya on July 7 as part of an ongoing world tour.
The singer will take the stage as part of the 2nd International Orange Festival / OrangeFest 2017 events at the Finike-Arykanda ancient city, one of the most attractive slope cities in Lycia. The concert will start at 7 p.m.

Almost 4 million Greeks were at risk of poverty last year
According to the ELSTAT, 35,6% of the Greece’s population or 3.789.300 people were at risk of poverty or social exclusion last year, showing a slight decrease compared to the previous year (3.828.500 people, representing 35,7% of the population).

Eurobasket 2017 semi-final: Greece vs. Turkey (starts at 4pm)
After defeating Russia (62-58), one of the tournament’s favourites, in the quarter finals of the 2017 Women Eurobasket, the Greek national basketball team will attempt to clinch a spot in the semi-finals today against Turkey at 4pm (Greek time). American coffeehouse chain Starbucks said on Tuesday it would employ 2,500 refugees in its European stores by 2022. It is a part of a global program to provide jobs for refugees announced in January.
The company said the European jobs would be part of Starbucks' commitment to hiring 10,000 refugees around the world.
