Bulgaria 19th in EU by Agricultural Production
Bulgaria is 19th in the EU by agricultural output with a score of EUR 3.8 B, according to Eurostat data, as cited by news portal Romania Insider.
Romania's total agricultural production reached EUR 15.48 B in 2014, placing the country eight in the EU.

EU Commission Warns Bulgaria on Implementation of Three Directives
The European Commission made three demands towards Bulgaria in terms of complying with the legislative norms of the Union Thursday.
The representative organ has requested from the Bulgarian government that an explanation is provided in three sections: driving licences, railway transportation safety and field crops disease management.

Jankovic withdraws from Doha tournament
BELGRADE - Serbia's Jelena Jankovic did not make it to the quarterfinal of the WTA tournament in Doha after she withdrew with an injury allowing Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic to move on.
Jankovic could not carry on with the match due to a groin pull, so she retired at the point when Kvitova held the lead 6-3, 2-1.

Earthquake Jolts Spain, No Damage or Casualties Reported
An earthquake rocked Spain's capital on Monday afternoon but injuries or damage were reported.
According to the US Geological Survey the tremor measured 5.0 on the Richter scale.
It said the quake's epicenter was seven kilometers from the town of Ossa de Montiel. The town is near Albacete in the region of Castille-La Mancha, about a two-hour drive south-east of Madrid.
