Electricity in Bulgaria is more Expensive than in Germany and Denmark
The rich nations of the European Union (EU) pay less for wholesale electricity than the poorer southern states. The cheapest electricity is in the Scandinavian countries and in Germany. It is most expensive in Italy, Greece and Portugal. Bulgaria is in the middle ground but pays more than the leading countries as well as the rapidly developing Baltic states of the EU.

Bulgaria is First in the EU by the Number of Women Working in the IT Sector
It turns out we are the first in the EU by the number of women working in the IT sector, as well as the number of girls studying information technology, according to Eurostat.
In our country, 26.5% of IT specialists are ladies. Secondly, Romania and Lithuania are ranked at 25.7 per cent. At the same time, the share in Hungary and the Czech Republic is below 10 percent.
Every Third Bulgarian Lives in a Serious Risk of Poverty
About 30 percent of the Bulgarian population or nearly every third Bulgarian lives in a serious risk of poverty, according to Eurostat analysis of the share of people in severe material deprivation in the EU in 2017. The EU average indicator of people living in severe material deprivation , is 6.7 per cent.
Athens among least green city destinations
Iceland's small, snowy capital, Reykjavik, has been crowned the greenest city for travelers, with the most green space per capita of 50 cities surveyed, a travel agency said on Tuesday.

Swedish DJ Avicii Dies Aged 28
Swedish artist and producer Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii, has died, aged 28, his spokesperson confirmed on Friday.
"It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii. He was found dead in Muscat, Oman, this Friday afternoon local time," said his press representative in a statement.

PM puzzled by "increasingly bizarre situation"
