Romania ranks 5th at Robotics European Championship
The three teams of students and professors with the Faculty of Engineering of the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (ULBS) have ranked fifth, the best result of Romania in the history of participations in the Robotics European Championship - EUROBOT Robomovies 2015, which took place over May 21 - 24 in Yverdon-les-Bains (Switzerland), according to a release sent AGERPRES on Tuesday.
Tunisian soldier shot dead after opening fire on colleagues and killing one
A Tunisian soldier opened fire on colleagues at a military base in the capital Tunis on May 25, killing an officer and two others and wounding 15 more before being shot dead himself, Tunisian authorities said.

Olive oil standardization could boost exports

The Greek economy could enjoy additional revenues of 250 million euros per year from olive oil exports if the commodity were utilized appropriately (i.e. not exported in bulk) and standardized in Greece with its own distinctive identity, according to a report by the National Bank of Greece.

Greece wins 3rd place in intl Blue Flag program
Three hundred and ninety five Greek coasts and nine marinas won the international “Blue Flag” programme classification, placing Greece in third amongst 49 countries.
The Blue Flag is a voluntary eco-label awarded to more than 4000 beaches and marinas in 49 countries across Europe, South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada and the Caribbean.
