Peace in Syria depends on Western support to Turkey: Erdoğan
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan believes that re-establishing peace and stability in Syria depends on Western support to Ankara.
In a column titled The West should help Turkey end Syria's Civil War for Bloomberg, Erdoğan wrote that a peaceful and lasting solution will not be possible unless Syria's territorial integrity and political unity are respected.
Turkish FM holds phone call with Iraqi counterpart
Turkey's top diplomat held a series of telephone calls on Feb. 8 with counterparts from three countries.
Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu called his Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments, according to Turkish sources.
He separately spoke with Tunisia's Othman Jerandi in a call that focused on recent development in Libya.

The areas with most newly-confirmed coronavirus cases over the last report are the City of Bucharest - 1,762 and the counties of Ilfov - 664, Constanta - 510 , Cluj - 407, Iasi - 365, according to data sent, on Thursday, by the Strategic Communication Group (GCS).
