According to site ‘TripAdvisor’, Athens is one of the best travel destinations in Europe for 2016. The site, which is arguably the most popular online resource for all things holiday, ranked Athens 12th in its ‘Travellers’ Choice Awards’.

During Tuesday’s press briefing Greek government spokesperson Olga Gerovasili essentially admitted that Greece would be hosting a large number of refugees and illegal immigrants for a longer period than had initially been expected.
