Explosion rocks military convoy in Turkey's southeast, casualties reported
A large explosion hit a military convoy on Feb. 18 in the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r.
The blast occurred on the Diyarbak?r-Bingöl highway at around 9.40 a.m. during the passing of a military convoy.
Casualties have been reported after the attack, which was reportedly staged by outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants after the detonation of a roadside bomb.

A large explosion in the Turkish capital, Ankara, has left at least 28 people dead and 61 injured on Wednesday night, according to Turkish officials.
A vehicle full of explosives was detonated as military buses were passing by, according to the Ankara governor’s office.

International community condemns Ankara blast, stands with Turkey
The international community has condemned a car bomb attack in Ankara that killed 28 people and wounded 61 others near the armed forces' headquarters, parliament and other government buildings.
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon condemned the explosion in a statement issued by his spokesperson on Feb. 17 and extended his "heartfelt condolences" to the victims' families.
Blast hits Turkish cultural center in Sweden
An explosion severely damaged part of a building that housed a Turkish cultural association in a Stockholm suburb late on Feb. 17 but no one was injured, police said.
Police said all the windows of the center were blown out and that technicians were on site to investigate the cause. The center was located in the basement of a building in Fittja, in southwest Stockholm.
