Vucic appointed President of National Minority Council

BELGRADE - The Serbian government adopted late Thursday a decision on forming the National Minority Council and appointed Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic as its president.

The National Minority Council monitors and reviews the exercise of national minorities' rights and the status of international relations in the Republic of Serbia, the government's media relations office released.

Saudi Arabia launches strikes on Yemen rebels

Saudi warplanes bombed Huthi rebels in Yemen on March 26, launching a military intervention by a 10-nation coalition to prevent the fall of embattled President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi.
The rebels and their allies within the armed forces had been closing in on main southern city Aden where Hadi has been holed up since fleeing the rebel-controlled capital Sanaa last month.
