Serbian projects presented to UAE businessmen
DUBAI/BELGRADE - Leading members of the chambers of commerce and industry of the Ajman and Umm al-Quwain emirates met the delegation of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) and expressed interest in the imports of bottled water from Serbia, cooperation in the field of animal husbandry and investment in Serbia.

BELGRADE -- Finance Minister Lazar Krstić said Monday that the solidarity tax will be scrapped as of July 1, but that public sector salaries will be reduced by ten percent.
The minimum wage will remain exempt, he said.

Serbian economy to be presented in United Arab Emirates
BELGRADE - A delegation of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS), headed by its president Zeljko Sertic, will visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from April 27th to May 1st and meet the leading businessmen of the seven Emirates.
The economic potential of Serbia as an investment destination will be presented to the UAE business community, PKS states in a release.

BELGRADE -- President Tomislav Nikolic has said that he wants Serbia’s foreign policy "to go back to old friendships after two decades of neglect of these relationships."
He made the remarks during a meeting in Belgrade with with ambassadors of African and Arab countries.

Al Dahra's stake in Rudnap chance for Serbian agriculture
BELGRADE - The sale of a 51-percent stake in Rudnap agrar to the Al Dahra company is a great chance for Serbia's agriculture, Rudnap Group owner Vojin Lazarevic has said.
"This may be the first, but definitely not the only Al Dahra activity in the Serbian market, and the same applies to other companies from the United Arab Emirates," Lazarevic told Tanjug.
