GNA forces kill 20 Haftar militia members in Libya

Libya's U.N.-recognized Government of National Accord (GNA) said ON March 3 that its forces killed 20 militia members loyal to renegade Gen. Khalifa Haftar in Sirte.

The militia members were killed in an airstrike, Mustafa al-Mujie, the spokesman for the GNA-led Burkan Al-Ghadab (Volcano of Rage) Operation, told Anadolu Agency.

Nearly 110,000 Bulgarians Returned to their Home Country since Beginning of Quarantine

According to data of the Bulgarian Border Police, nearly 110,000 Bulgarians returned from abroad from the first day of quarantine until March 23. 36,000 people returned to Bulgaria by plane. Turkey evacuates students from virus-hit countries

Turkey has started to evacuate its students, studying abroad, who wanted to return to their country but were unable to due to the flight bans.

Foreign Minister Mevlut Çavuşoğlu had said that some 3,358 students would be brought back from seven countries with flight bans. They will be quarantined upon their arrival, in various provinces, he had said.

Turkish Airlines halting all int’l flights except 5 routes

Turkish Airlines will ground all international flights except five routes from March 27 to April 17, the national flag carrier announced on March 22.

"As of March 27, we will suspend all our international flights except Hong Kong, Moscow, Addis Ababa, New York, and Washington, until April 17," the company's CEO Bilal Ekşi said on Twitter.
