Slovenia’s Ema Kozin declared best WBF woman boxer of 2020
Ljubljana – The World Boxing Federation (WBF) has declared Slovenia’s Ema Kozin the best WBF woman boxer of the year 2020, while her coach Rudi Pavlin has in turn been declared the best WBF coach in the last year. This is a second WBF award for Kozin, who last year won the award for the best women’s fight of the year.
Turkey appoints new ambassadors
Turkey's Foreign Ministry has begun appointing new envoys to missions abroad, with the ministry's spokesperson, Hami Aksoy, being be assigned as Ankara's ambassador to Belgrade.
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu had a phone conversation with some ambassadors to notify them on their new positions and extended his best wishes, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Dec. 8.

Galatasaray loses league game, key player
Defending champion Galatasaray made a nightmare return to the Turkish Süper Lig on June 14, losing 2-0 to Rizespor in an away match, while goalkeeper Fernando Muslera suffered a heavy injury, dealing a major blow to the Istanbul club's title chances.
The Uruguay international was injured in the 15th minute and was hospitalized after fracturing his tibia and fibula.
