Serbia to mark Victory Day

BELGRADE - The marking of the Day of victory over Nazism in World War II started late Thursday with a ceremonial artillery salute fired from the Sava terrace of the Belgrade Fortress, the Serbian government said in a statement.

Chepurin: Serbs,Russians have always been on side of justice

BELGRADE - The Russian Embassy in Belgrade organised a reception late on Monday to mark May 9, the Victory Day, and on this occasion Russian Ambassador Alexander Chepurin stated that Serbs and Russians have always been on the side of justice and have demonstrated that victories are scored by those who are backed by the truth and not by those who have the money and power.
