Albanian officer killed in Spain while trafficking drugs

TIRANA -- Albanian Army Major Sokol Feka was the pilot of a helicopter that crashed yesterday in Spain while transporting narcotics from Morocco.

Feka served in the Albanian military for 18 years and was made major in 2009. He is described as "a pilot who enjoyed the highest degree of trust."

Healthcare in Bulgaria Ranks Among Poorest in Europe

The healthcare services provided in Bulgaria rank among the poorest in Europe, according to the Euro Health Consumer Index (EHCI) released by the Health Consumer Powerhouse on Tuesday.

Bulgaria obtained 547 out of 1000 possible points, ranking 30th out of 36 countries included in the survey.

Macedonia's Foreign Minister Visiting Albania to Boost Cooperation

Macedonia's Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki is visiting Albania on Monday as part of intensified contacts between the two Balkan neighbours.

Poposki is scheduled to meet his Albanian counterpart Ditmir Bushati and Prime Minister Edi Rama as well as the head of the foreign affairs committee in Parliament, Arta Dade, the Foreign Ministry in Skopje said in a press release.
