Greeks send aid to flood victims in neighboring Serbia
The Greek branch of Doctors of the World said on Wednesday that the first shipping container of humanitarian aid for Serbian flood victims collected from donations is due to arrive in the Balkan country on Thursday.
The shipment contains medicines, food and clothes that will be handed over at a hospital in the town of Smederevska Palanka.
Bulgarian Govt. Approves BGN 132,000 for Humanitarian Aid
Bulgaria's humanitarian assistance to flood-hit Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina will amount to BGN 132,000.
The funds have been approved by the government through the budget of the Ministry of Interior for Official Development Assistance.
The humanitarian aid will be granted in the form of tents, blankets, clothes, beds, mineral water, and other vital items.

BELGRADE - Cattle killed in devastating floods in Republika Srpska (RS) over the past few days will be destroyed in Serbia, and Serbian Ministry of Agriculture Veterinary Inspectorate chief Sanja Celebicanin has said that the cattle corpses will be brought to Serbia under specially controlled conditions.
