Bulgaria's most successful tennis player Grigor Dimitrov started with victory his participation in the BNP Paribas Masters tournament in Paris.

In 64 minutes he won against Pablo Cuevas (6:0, 6:3) and qualified for the nex round where he will face Andy Murray.

Bulgaria's most successful tennis player Grigor Dimitrov won his match Friday night against Jack Sock and qualified for the semifinal of If Stockholm Open.

In the second game of the match, which ended 5:7, 6:4, 6:3, Dimitrov scored two spectacular hot shots in a row - behind-the-back and between-the-legs, which left Sock stunned and the audience delighted.

MOSCOW - Serbian female tennis player Aleksandra Krunic qualified for the third round of the Kremlin Cup WTA as she defeated France's Caroline Garcia, 6-4, 6-2.

Krunic received a special invitation from the cup organisers to take part in the competition. In the Tuesday match, she easily ousted the world's 36th player after just 54 minutes into the game.

Bulgarian tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova defeated Austrian Lisa-Maria Moser with 6: 2, 6: 3 in a match of the first round of the tennis tournament in Linz, with a prize pool of USD 250,000.

As expected, Pironkova outplayed Moser, which is currently number 395 in the world rankings, Bulgaria's Nova TV reports.

Grigor Dimitrov Loses To Novak Djokovic

Bulgaria's most successful tennis player Grigor Dimitrov lost by 2:6, 4:6 to world's number 1 Novak Djokovic at the quarter final of China Open tournament in Beijing.

In spite the loss, Dimitrov gained 90 points in the world rankings.

This was Dimitrov's third in a row and fifth total loss to Djokovic out of six matches against him.
