Pall-Ex Group Enters Partnership Deal with Bulgaria's Econt
UK-headquartered palletised freight distribution network Pall-Ex Group has expanded operations in Europe by signing a partnership deal with Econt, one of Bulgaria's largest providers of transport and logistics solutions.
Pall-Ex will start operations in Bulgaria by the middle of next year, the company said in a statement. Econt operates over 40% of the parcel market in Bulgaria.

Bulgaria, Italy to Co-Host 2018 Men's Volleyball World Championship
Bulgaria and Italy will co-host the 19th edition of the men's volleyball World Championship, which will take place in 2018.
This will be the first world championship co-hosted by two countries, with the semifinals and finals of the tournament to be played in Italy.
The decision was taken by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) on Wednesday in Lausanne.

Bulgaria's October Industrial Production Index Rises 1% Y/Y
Bulgaria's industrial production index rose by 0.1% month-on-month in October led by the manufacturing sector, the country's statistical office NSI said on Tuesday.
Compared with October 2014, the index increased by 1.0%.
Both calculations are seasonally adjusted. Data for October 2015 are preliminary.

According to President Rosen Plevneliev, the achievements of Bulgaria in the field of innovations are forthcoming and the country has great potential to develop in this sphere.

Sofia Hosts International Short Film Festival on 8-13 December
The capital of Bulgaria will host for the first time IN THE PALACE International Short Film Festival, which will take place at the National Palace of Culture (NDK) between December 8 and 13.
The audience will have the opportunity to watch more than 100 movies, each of them with a length of up to 27 minutes.
