Turkey Catches 51 Syrian Migrants Trying to Sneak into Bulgaria

Turkish border police have caught 51 migrants from Syria trying to cross illegally into Bulgaria, Sofia-based BNR radio station reported on Saturday.

The refugees including 24 children were discovered during a routine inspection of two light trucks on the motorway linking Istanbul with the city of Edirne, which is close to the border with Bulgaria.

Bulgaria's GDP increased in the last quarter of 2014, according to the flash estimates of the Bulgarian National Institute (NSI), which were released on Friday.

According to the flash estimates, the GDP for the last quarter of 2014 increased with 1.2 % compared to the same period a year ago.
