Obradovic: Djokovic ready for match with Croatia
KRALJEVO - Serbia's coach Bogdan Obradovic confirmed that the world's No.1 tennis player Novak Djokovic will play a first-round match of the Davis Cup World Group against Croatia's team.
The Serbian team will also include Filip Krajinovic, Dusan Lajovic and Viktor Troicki who has recently triumphed in the tournament in Sydney and is in excellent shape, Obradovic added.
Arsovic triumphs in Ruse
RUSE - Serbia's shooter Andrea Arsovic won the first place at the 21st International Air Rifle and Pistol Competition in the Slovenian city of Ruse on the second day of the tournament.
On Sunday, Arsovic had the best score of 209.2 points in an air rifle event, ahead of her compatriot Jelena Zivkovic, and Marta Zeljkovic from Croatia.

RUSE - Serbia's shooter Andrea Arsovic triumphantly began 2015, winning trophies in women's single and team events at the 21st International Air Gun Competition, in Ruse, Slovenia.
Arsovic finished first in an air rifle singles event with the score of 206.8 points on Saturday, ahead of the Croatia's Snjezana Pejcic (205.5) and Tanja Perec (185.0).
Hike in Swiss Franc Causes Panic in Croatia
A leap sudden leap in the value of the Swiss franc in relation to the euro has caused a knock-on effect Croatia, bringing bad news to Croats holding loans in the Swiss currency.
During a single day the franc rose by 15.8 per cent in relation to the kuna.
The kuna is linked to the euro, to which the Croatian national bank, HNB, tries to keep the kuna pegged.
Djokovic through to Doha ATP quarterfinal with ease
DOHA - World's best tennis player Novak Djokovic qualified for the Doha ATP quarterfinal as he defeated Sergiy Stakhovsky of Ukraine in the second round match on Wednesday, 6-2, 6-1.
In the next round, Djokovic will cross rackets with Croatia's Ivo Karlovic who beat Georgia's Nikoloz Basilashvili, 7-6 (7-3), 6-3.
Serbia ousted from European Championship
OSIJEK - World vice champions Serbia failed to qualify for the second phase of the 2014 European Women's Handball Championship after losing to Slovakia 23-21 (6-11) in their last group D match of the Preliminary Round in Osijek (Croatia) last night.
The team coached by Sasa Boskovic lost all the three matches it played in the group, from Montenegro, France and Slovakia.
Serbia's loses second match women's handball EC
OSIJEK - Serbia lost to France 27-16 (11-3) in the second round of Group D of the women's handball European championships in Osijek, Croatia, on Wednesday.
This was Serbia's second defeat at this event, after losing to Montenegro 22-19 in the first round.
