Motorcycle Days | Athens | September 30 & October 1

Christina Androulidaki's CAN Gallery in Kolonaki is paying tribute to Dimitris Condos (1931-96) this fall with an exhibition dedicated to the late Greek artist and his abstract work, which was considered groundbreaking at the height of his career.

Touring Perfection | Athens | September 21 - October 26

In cooperation with the Italian Education Institute in Athens, the Epigraphic Museum presents an exhibition by Italian photographer Paolo Morello titled "Touring Perfection." Curated by Aphrodite Economidou, the show pays homage to ancient Greece's greatest cultural monuments as captured by the Palermo-born artist.

European Heritage Days | Athens | September 21

Actors from the National Theater of Northern Greece will be reading extracts from Byzantine and post-Byzantine-era texts at the Byzantine and Christian Museum in Athens, in an event marking European Heritage Days. The event starts at 7.30 p.m. and admission is free of charge.

Filming of 'Mamma Mia' Sequel to Start in Vis, Croatia

The US film production company Universal Pictures will soon start shooting the sequel to the hit 2008 American-British-Swedish film musical Mamma Mia! in Croatia, on the island of Vis.

The film, following a popular Broadway musical, featured Hollywood stars Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan, among others, singing along to hits from the 1970s Swedish legendary pop band Abba.
