Ethnographic Film Festival | Athens | November 23-27
The seventh edition of the Athens Ethnographic Film Festival takes place at the Astor cinema in central Athens from Wednesday, November 23, to Sunday, November 27. The event will showcase over 50 movies from countries such as the US, Russia, Brazil, France, Turkey and Greece, among others, exploring peoples and cultures.
Romantic landscapes of Felix Ziem at Pera Museum
Pera Museum's "Félix Ziem: Wanderer on the Sea of Light" exhibition presents the works of one most original landscape painters of the 19th century: Félix Ziem.
The exhibition focuses on Ziem as an artist who left his mark on 19th century painting and who is mostly known for his paintings of Istanbul and Venice, where the city and the sea are intertwined.
Greek diva to perform on Turkish stage
Tekfen Philharmonic Orchestra will deliver a concert tonight at Istanbul's Zorlu PSM in honor of the 60th anniversary of Tekfen Holding, to be accompanied by Greek diva Alkistis Protopsalti, a stalwart promoter of Greek culture and music, and a famous name from ethnic jazz, Lebanon's Rabih Abou Khalil. The concert will be conducted by Uzbekistan's Aziz Shokhakimov.

Exhibition of Pulitzer-Winning Bulgarian Photographer Opens in Sofia
An exhibition of Thomson Reuters photographer Stoyan Nenov, who was among the Pulitzer winners in photography this year, can now be seen at the Czech Center in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Entitled 1/320 of the Second, it shows some of the photos he took of migrants and refugees headed to Western Europe and crossing the Balkans.
