Bank of Greece Governor Yannis Stournaras came under attack on Wednesday from Parliament Speaker Zoe Constantopoulou and her SYRIZA colleagues after the central bank issued in one of its regular reports a warning regarding the consequences of the government failing to reach an agreement with its lenders.

Former Greek state broadcaster returns Wednesday

Greece?s revived public broadcaster ERT will begin TV and radio programs on Wednesday.

ERT was shut down in June 2012 and replaced with the smaller NERIT by the previous government but the SYRIZA-led coalition has decided to switch to the previous format.

Guardian: One way or another, a Greek debt writedown will happen

Popular newspaper and website The Guardian states that whatever deal may arise for Greece, there is one point that cannot go unnoticed. Greek debt remains at 180% of GDP and is not viable. In one way or another, the debt haircut has to take place at some point, according to the British newspaper, but such a thing will not be part of the current deal.

 

Fast and Furious 8… Could it be set in Athens? (video)

No sooner did Fast and Furious 7 premier that the makers are focused on no 8, scheduled for release on April 14, 2017. Producer-star Vin Diesel confirmed this date at CinemaCon Las Vegas though a new poster showed that it may come out during summer.

Sibiu: 10,000 tickets already sold for the International Theatre Festival

As many as 10,000 tickets have already been sold for the 22nd edition of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival (FITS), held between June 12-22, as announced by the organizers.

Theatre lovers have ten more days at their disposal to buy one of the 11,000 tickets left.
