Meteorological reports showed 15-degree temperatures for the morning and 20 degrees at noon.

Support for Euro Rises in EU-19

Support for the euro has increased among citizens of the euro area in 2015, reaching an all-time high, according to the latest Eurobarometer survey of the European Commission.

An overall 61% of respondents have confirmed that they see the European single currency as good for their own country, compared to 57% last year, the Commission said on its website.

Greek Olympics Committee: Don’t use the velodrome to house refugees!

Greece’s national Olympic committee issued a statement on Wednesday criticising reported plans to use sporting venues to temporarily shelter thousands of refugees. The committee said that all sporting venues are “absolutely necessary” to help Greek athletes prepare for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
