Advocaat no longer Serbia's coach
BELGRADE - The Football Association of Serbia (FSS) has decided to end the contract with national coach Dick Advocaat, the SOS TV station reported on Saturday.
The FSS held a meeting with the Dutch coach after the 3-1 defeat against Denmark in Belgrade in a European championship qualifier match on Friday and thetwo sides agreed to terminate the contract.

Inquiry into death of 4-month-old baby on board tourist bus
An investigation has been launched after a 4-month-old baby died on board a tourist coach in northern Greece early on Friday.
The coach was traveling from Romania to Thessaloniki when the childs parents, a Romanian couple, asked the driver to call an ambulance after their child started to run a high temperature.

BELGRADE -- President of the Serbian Football Association (FSS) Tomislav Karadžić says the FSS has filed an appeal to the UEFA over the three points taken from Serbia.
UEFA made the decision following the abandonment of the EURO 2016 qualifier Serbia played against Albania in Belgrade last month.

BELGRADE -- On Monday Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama is visiting Belgrade, which is a historic event in the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The last visit by a head of the Albanian state to Belgrade was recorded in 1946 when Enver Hoxha met with Josip Broz Tito.
Sotiris Ninis returns to Panathinaikos
Greece international midfielder Sotiris Ninis has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with Panathinaikos, the Greek Super League club announced on Thursday.
No financial terms of the deal were announced by the Athens team.
Ninis, 24, began his career with Panathinaikos in 2006 and left in 2012 to join Italian club Parma.

Major international players close to sealing considerable investments in Greece are also one step away from withdrawing all interest. They are clearly afraid of the political risk and the possibility of an administration that would, at best, deal with investment and privatization issues with suspicion.
Ranieri's job safe says Greek federation
The Greek soccer federation denied on Monday media reports that it has lost confidence in national coach Claudio Ranieri.
"There is no problem of collaboration with Mr Claudio Ranieri. Anything written or spoken in the media or rumored bears no relation to reality,» a statement by the federation said.
Kyriakos Papadopoulos out for the year with shoulder injury
Bayer Leverkusen and Greece defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos is out until the end of the year with a shoulder injury.
The Bundesliga club says Papadopoulos had an operation late Monday. He was injured in the final practice before the team's departure for the Champions League match against Zenit St. Petersburg.
Greece drops Samaras for Euro 2016 qualifier
Greece coach Claudio Ranieri has dropped striker Georgios Samaras from the national team after a dismal start to European Championship qualifying.
Samaras, who plays for West Bromwich Albion, is one of Greeces best-known players following his six-year spell at Celtic and after helping the national team reach the second round at the World Cup in Brazil.
