Ukrainians Clash with Locals over Bulgarian Dog Spinning Ritual

Ukrainian and Bulgarian environmentalists have got into a scuffle with locals in a southeastern Bulgarian village over a controversial ritual performed there every year.

Dozens of people have arrived in the Brodilovo village in the Strandzha mountains, led by an environmentalist organization and handing out stuffed toy dogs to locals, according to the Bulgarian National Radio.

According to the Turkish Media, Greece has captured the island of Oinousses, which they call “Koyun”, and has put a garrison there. They say that the Greek Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Alcibiades Stefanis, made a “provocative” visit on the island!

As they say, the Greek General “visited the island without anyone stopping him(!) raised the Greek flag”…

Azeri gas pipeline to start pumping gas by 2020

The Southern Gas Corridor will start pumping gas from the Caspian Sea to Europe by 2020, its backers said on Thursday, despite the risk of delays to this option for reducing dependence on Russia.

Police nets migrant smuggling gang

The Greek Police (ELAS) on Friday announced the arrest of nine suspected members of a major human trafficking racket moving migrants from Turkey to Greece, saying that five Greeks and four Pakistani nationals had been detained for questioning.

Greece says expects Turkey to seek extradition of soldiers
