Brussels clears regional airport privatization
The European Commission has approved the transfer of 14 Greek airports to a German-led consortium and says it's now up to Greece to finalize the deal, a key element of the country's bailout program.
The Commission says the 1.23-billion-euro agreement can go ahead as it did not involve state aid, was transparent and in line with market conditions.
Turkish Threat to Scrap EU Refugee Deal Questioned
Turkey is unlikely to act on recent threats uttered by Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu who said that they could send 15,000 refugees to Europe a month to shock Europeans.
Soylu issued the threat on Thursday following a diplomatic row between Ankara and Germany and The Netherlands, fuelled by the latter's ban on allowing Turkish ministers to stage rallies there.
Man kills young daughter then commits suicide
A 59-year-old man in Messini, southern Greece, killed his 10-year-old daughter in their home on Friday with a hunting rifle, which he then used to commit suicide.
According to local reports, both were found dead by their relatives. Police were investigating the tragedy, while a coroner is expected to examine the bodies.

Group briefly occupies SYRIZA office in Patras
A group of self-styled anarchists briefly occupied the office of ruling SYRIZA in the town of Patras in western Greece on Friday.
The group hanged a banner from the office on the corner of Gounaris and Al. Ypsilantou Streets, denouncing last week's evacuation of two squats in Athens by police.
They also distributed leaflets before they ended their symbolic sit-in.
