Moscovici says Greece has met conditions for release of loans
The European Union's top economy official says Greece has met all outstanding conditions required to receive more rescue loans to bolster its debt-strapped economy.
EU Economy Commissioner Pierre Moscovici said Monday that Greece has completed the so-called "milestones" needed for the disbursement of an additional 2.8 billion euros ($3.1 billion).

The EuroGroup Ministers are convening in Luxembourg, Monday to discuss whether the first review of the Greek bailout program, signed in August 2015 with the country’s creditors -the European Stability Mechanism and the EU member-states, will be completed. The EuroWorking Group (EWG) met earlier to decide on if Greece had implemented the 15 prior actions, in accordance to the compliance report.
Bulgaria's Exports to EU Grew, Imports Shrank in Jan-Jul
Bulgarian exports to the EU grew by 4.3% in the first seven months of this year, compared to the same period of 2015, while imports from other member states dipped slightly, statistics show.
Exports amounted to BGN 17.4966 B. The main trade partners included Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece and France, accounting for 64.7% of the exports to EU member states.
Reporters unfurl black banner in front of PM’s office (photos-video)
A group of reporters unfurled a black banner across the railings in front of the Greek PM, Alexis Tsipras’s office in Maxmos Mansion, Monday. The banner read ‘Black has no grading’, which referred to the intended plan by the government to shut down all other national TV stations. The protesters were prevented from approaching the PM’s office by several riot police unit vehicles.
