It is legal in Lithuania, Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Lusembourg, Ireland, United Kingdom, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic (until the age of 12 years), Hungary, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, San Marino, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Andora and Sweden.

Omnibus bill

The Greek government is due to vote on the omnibus draft bill on prior actions that the country is obliged to implement as part of the bailout deal. Greek lawmakers are set to vote on the bill on Friday after heated debate. The implementation of the reforms will release about 2 billion euros worth of bailout money benchmarked for Greece.

Govt submits omnibus bill with tough reforms to Greek Parliament. What’s next?

The Greek government submitted the omnibus draft bill with 48 prior actions the country is being called to implement as part of its bailout deal with international creditors (EC, ECB, IMF, ESM). Lawmakers will now need to study the bill presented to them on Monday and vote for it on Friday so that 2-bln euro tranche can be released for Greece.

PM Calls on US to Follow Bulgaria's Example of Fiscal Discipline

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has advised the United States to use the example of Bulgarian Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov and his policy of discipline.

Speaking at a conference of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria (AmCham), Borisov also urged Washington ro revoke visas for the Bulgarian businesses as other EU member states did.

Moscovici to visit Greece

European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici will visit Greece the following days, as he announced today via his personal account on Twitter.

Mr. Moskovisi will arrive in Athens on Wednesday and remain until Thursday. He will meet with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and the Greek authorities so as to work together on the bailout program.

 

Bulgarian Appointed as Viber's CEE Business Development Manager

Messaging company Viber announced on Monday it has appointed Daniela Ivanova as business development manager for Central and Eastern Europe.

The company said in a statement Ivanova's initial focus would be on Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, and Hungary - the biggest Viber markets in terms of statistics and development potential.

Tourist arrivals up 20.8 % for Jan-Jun period

According to the Frontier Statistical Survey conducted by the Bank of Greece, in the period January-June of 2015, arrivals of non-residents from abroad increased by 20,8%, compared with the corresponding period of the year 2014.

Merkel for Greece: “Traffickers do whatever they want in Aegean Sea”

German Chancellor Angela Merkel talked to Bild about the refugee crisis and the actions required to address the problem.

“In the Aegean sea, at sea borders between Greece and Turkey, traffickers do whatever they want,” the German chancellor said.

PM Tsipras receives UN High Commissioner for Refugees Guterres

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras received on Monday UN High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres and talked about the refugee crisis.

Mr. Guterres referred to his visit to the island of Lesvos where he had the opportunity to observe the conditions and management of the refugees’ problem and also referred to the Greek people’s solidarity towards the refugees.
