ECB calls on Greece to agree a strong, sustainable debt pact
European Central Bank President Mario Draghi called on Wednesday for a "strong agreement" with Greece to ensure it stays in the eurozone and also has a sustainable economy.
He said negotiations had not yet reached the point where the ECB could loosen the strings on Greece to allow it to extend issuance of short-term government bills as collateral for ECB liquidity.
Italy's Padoan confident of Greek deal, says must be soon
Italian Economy and Finance Minister Pier Carlo Padoan said on Wednesday he was confident a deal would be reached between Greece and its creditors but warned that time was running out.
"We will have a deal on Greece, I am fairly confident,» he told reporters on the margins of a conference at the OECD think tank in Paris.
EIB loan to help Turkey's SMEs
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has agreed to offer loans worth 200 million euros ($222 million) to Turkey?s state-owned bank, Ziraat Bank, to finance small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as medium-sized corporates, the Turkish Treasury announced in a statement on June 3.
The loan will be guaranteed by the Treasury.

Dacic to travel to Russia, Merkel, Tsipras to visit Belgrade
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has said that he will be in Russia for a forum in St. Petersburg in mid-June.
He also told Belgrade-based daily Danas that Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias would visit Belgrade on June 25 to lay the groundwork for the first official visit to Serbia by Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
