Cyprus freed capital flows on Monday, ending two years of controls that set an unwanted precedent for the euro zone at the height of the bloc's debt crisis.
The Mediterranean nation became the first and, to date, the only euro zone member to impose controls, acting to stem a flight of capital from its banks in March 2013.

Skouries miners allege damage to vehicles from anti-mine protesters
Miners working at the Skouries gold mine in Halkidiki, northern Greece, continued their protests on Monday after a day of tension on Sunday.
Supporters of the project as well as opponents protested on Sunday. Miners alleged that anti-mine demonstrators damaged two cars and a truck during a protest in the village of Ierissos.
Greece agrees to repay IMF debt by April 9: Lagarde
Greece has agreed to repay its debt to the International Monetary Fund by April 9, IMF chief Christine Lagarde said after a meeting with Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis.
There was speculation ahead of the visit that Athens might fail to meet the 460-million-euro ($501-million) IMF installment if forced to choose between the IMF and paying government workers.
