New Thessaloniki shelter for homeless drug users

Homeless drug users in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, will soon be provided with shelter as part of an initiative by the state-run Organization Against Drugs (OKANA).
According to the plan, drug users will be able to sleep at a short-term hospitality facility where they will also be provided with food and somewhere to have a wash.

Bulgaria and Northern Macedonia Will Cooperate Against Human Trafficking

The Governments of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Northern Macedonia will sign a protocol on cooperation in the fight against human trafficking in Ohrid.

The document provides for cooperation on the support and protection of victims of human trafficking and the exchange of experience between the competent institutions of the two countries.

North Macedonia police detain 50 migrants within days

Police in North Macedonia say they apprehended 50 Europe-bound migrants who allegedly entered the country from Greece.
A police statement said officers chasing a jeep Saturday on the main north-south highway in central North Macedonia found 10 people from Pakistan inside when the driver abandoned the vehicle. Police are still searching for the driver.
