Kosovo No State, Serbian President Tells Jahjaga

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic has told the President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, that she should not consider herself a state president since Kosovo "will never be a state", according to well founded reports in the Belgrade media.

Montenegro Awaits NATO Chief With High Hopes

Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General, is coming to Podgorica on Wednesday on a two-day visit to discuss Montenegro's aspirations to become a full member of the Atlantic Alliance by the end of 2015.

Nikolic talks about position of Serbs in Montenegro

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic has said that the rights of Serbs in Montenegro must be "solved by the Constitution."

Nikolic, who was in Montenegro for a regional summit, said that Serbia must care for Serbs wherever they are, and that this was one of the topics of his meetings with Montenegrin officials.

"Eurointegration of Western Balkans should not stop"

Austrian President Heinz Fischer said on Monday that European integration of the Western Balkans should continue.

The Austrian government will continue supporting the region on the road to the EU just as it has been doing for the past 15 years, Fischer told reporters after a summit of the Brdo-Brijuni Process leaders in Budva, Montenegro.

US General Rallies Kosovo For Fight Against Islamists

General John Allen visited Kosovo on Thursday, meeting top officials on a mission to strengthen cooperation within the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL, of which Kosovo is a part.

President Atifete Jahjaga said in a meeting with the US General that mainly Muslim Kosovo was determined "never to become a haven for terrorist groups or a source of extremism".

Montenegro 'Crucifying' Serbian Church, Bishop Says

Metropolitan Amfilohije on Wednesday accused the Montenegrin authorities of "crucifying and persecuting" his Church and of wanting to "grab Church property".

At a service in Cetinje, Bishop Amfilohije said Montenegro was also trying to obstruct the legal residence of his clergy.

Seselj Plans to Revive Radicals in Montenegro

Serbian war crimes defendant Vojislav Seselj plans to re-activate his nationalist party in neighbouring Montenegro ahead of next year's parliamentary elections, the Serbian Radical Party announced on Monday.

The newly-elected leader of the Montenegrin party, Dusko Sekulic, said that it was ready to commit itself to strengthening of the branch in Montenegro.

Montenegro Firms Spy Business Opportunities in NATO

The Montenegrin Chamber of Commerce on Monday said companies in the country hope to do important business with NATO armies as a result of obtaining a coveted NATO code.

According to official data, 25 companies have thus far obtained the NATO Commercial and Government Entity Code, NCAGE. The first company to win an NCAGE award was in 2012.
