Moldova, Montenegro Agree on Cooperation within European Integration
Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, had a meeting with Foreign Minister of Montenegro, Srđan Darmanović, who pays a working visit to Chisinau, Moldpres has reported.
The parties confirmed mutual interest in intensifying political dialogue, boost trade and economic exchanges, strengthen cooperation in education and culture.
Albania Spies Gold in Projects Linked to TAP
Albania hopes to be a major player in the distribution of gas in the region as a result of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline, TAP, which will start bringing natural gas from the Caspian Sea to Europe in 2020.
The project, work on which will start within the next three years, will run through Albania with 215 kilometres on land and 37 km offshore in the Adriatic Sea.

US Senate Approves Montenegro's Accession to NATO
Montenegro is ready to become the newest member of the North Atlantic Treaty organisation after the US Senate voted by a large majority to ratify the accession of the country to the alliance, reported The New York Times, cited by Focus agency.
97 senators voted "for" and only 2 voted "against" the accession of Montenegro to NATO.

A long-awaited vote in the US Senate on Montenegro's NATO bid is set to take place on Monday, marking the final step in the country's seven-year accession process.
The move to schedule a vote on the accession bid in the Senate came after Donald Trump's White House urged lawmakers to speed up the procedure to ratify the Accession Protocol.
