DUBLIN -- Belgrade is one of the ten holiday spots to visit in 2015 recommended by the Irish Times, Tanjug has reported.
"Belgrade has reaffirmed itself as the major Balkan metropolis," Irish Times Travel reporter Fionn Davenport writes.
He noted the city's "Kalemegdan Citadel and its beauty that spreads outward."

BELGRADE -- Mid Europa Partners has signed an agreement on the acquisition of Danube Foods Group (DFG).
DFG owns Serbian dairies Imlek and Mlekara Subotica, and Bambi and Knjaz Milos companies.
Mid Europa also bought all Imlek dairies operating in Macedonia, the Serb Republic (RS) and Montenegro.

BELGRADE- Mid Europa Partners, a leading investment fund focused on Central and Eastern Europe, signed an agreement on the acquisition of Danube Foods Group (DFG), the owner of Serbian companies Imlek, Mlekara Subotica, Bambi, and Knjaz Milos, DFG said in a release on Monday.
Mid Europa also bought all Imlek dairies operating in Macedonia, Republika Srpska and Montenegro.
Serbs, Israelis, Buy Montenegrin Arms Firm
According to the draft agreement for the sale of MDI, which BIRN has seen, a consortium of two companies, CPR-IMPEX from Belgrade and ATL Atlantic Technologies Ltd from Tel Aviv, are required to invest an additional 400,000 euro by the end of 2015.
The Serbo-Israeli joint offer was the sole bid for the tender, which was completed in last December.
Montenegro, Bosnia at Loggerheads Over Border
Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina are no closer to settling a row over their borders in the Sutorina area.
As far as Montenegro is concerned, the Sutorina issue should be removed from discussion as soon as possible, the Foreign Minister, Igor Lukcic, told a parliamentary hearing on Friday. "Our position is clear and I do not see that anything can change it," Luksic said.
