Iohannis on postal voting: I am dissatisfied with the management of it

EBRD upgrades growth estimates for Romania to 3pct in 2015
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has slightly improved its estimates on the growth of Romania's economy in 2015 to 3 per cent from its 2.8 per cent forecast in January, shows a report released on Thursday on the occasion of the Annual General Assembly of EBRD shareholders.

VAT Cut Helps Romanian Publishers Turn a Page
A drop of 4 per cent in the Value Added Tax imposed on the printing and selling of books has received a warn welcomed from the small and embattled Romanian book industry.
"This is a necessary if timid sign that the government is finally trying to help the book market," Grigore Arsene, president of the Publishers Association of Romania, said on Wednesday.

EUROPAfest 2015 to kick off with double Opening Concert events, in Bucharest and Sibiu

Greek mothers among the oldest in the EU!
In 2013, a majority (51.2%) of women in the European Union (EU) gave birth to their first child when aged in their 20s, while 40.6% became mothers in their 30s. In addition, more than 127,000 births of first children in the EU in 2013 were to women aged less than 20 (teenage mothers) and around 65,500 to women aged 40 and over.
